Clinician Bio: Kids and families are the foundation of Dr. Luisa’s professional career. Since earning her doctorate degree in 2009, she has been treating kids and families full-time. For five years, she worked at Aurora Mental Health Center providing bilingual (Spanish) therapy to kids and families with a wide range of psychological, psychosocial, and behavioral problems. For the next 12 years, she helped patients in-home with Harmony at Home while also leading Kaiser Permanente Colorado’s Developmental Pediatric & Autism Behavioral Health Department. At KP, she helped families build positive futures for their children through screening, evaluation, and diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, global developmental delay, and other neurodevelopmental disorders. Now Dr. Luisa is full-time in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, helping families through in-home, group, and virtual therapy.
